KvS Calendar 2025

It's summer! The water is warm and nature is in full bloom! Sunday afternoon is club afternoon, and we're open from 2:30 PM. Starting in April, we'll also be offering Wednesday evening trips. Who wants to take a trip from the club grounds?

The tour committee, from KVS are preparing a number of tours that you can participate in after registering. Do you have an idea for a tour or would you like to organize one? Then send an email email.

Tuesday, November 11: St. Martin's evening walk with lights through Nieuw West

Sun 12 January:

- 5 pm: Light Festival Amsterdam (14 km) evening tour

- Sat 25 Jan: Boat show Düsseldorf- with a special hall for canoeing - meeting at 8 am at KV Sloterplas - costs: petrol, food and € 21,= entrance fee

- Sat 1 February: Bieschbosch tour (25 km) in collaboration with TKBN. Register by 28 January via mail - Bring warm clothing for experienced sailors

- Sun 16 Feb: Winter trip through West to Halfweg - 10-15 km for all boaters - starts at 12 noon!

- Sunday 14 March: Tour around the Nieuwe Meer - 14 km for all boaters

- Wed 4 June: start of introductory kayak course at 7:30 PM, grounds open from 7:00 PM FULL

- Fri 6 - Mon 9 June: KVS Pinksterkamp in Cologne Rhine cruises through Cologne, river cruises on the Niers, BBQs, and camping/hotel stays. Guests at KV Grün-Gelb Köln -

- Sunday, June 15th from 2 p.m.: Sale and swap day. Members offer kayaks and equipment for sale. Try out boats. To register boats, please email the board.

- Canoe4days:51st NH Canoe Four-Day Evening March: A 12 km trip every evening at a participating canoe club. (Gathering: 5:30-6:00 PM) register here:

Wed 2 July: Long-distance sailing training (every Wednesday: meet at 7 p.m., depart at 7:30 p.m.)

Sunday, July 13: Kortenhoef Lakes tour (9 km): sail through blooming lily fields and a tranquil nature reserve. Swimming during the break. Suitable for all levels.

Sun., July 27: Twiske tour: nature reserve above Amsterdam, several portages, break in the nature reserve. (12 km). Suitable for all levels.

Sun., August 17: Tour of Monnickendam, Broeck and Waterland, and the polders. A ramble through nature and old villages north of Amsterdam (14 km). Some touring experience required!

August 20-24: Sail Amsterdam - 750 years of Amsterdam

Sunday, August 24: Canoe Salute! - sailing past the Sail Amsterdam Tall Ships. In collaboration with Sail Amsterdam, KV Zeeburg, and KV Sloterplas.
