On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, Gerard Diependaal gave a lecture about his adventures during a tour of Rügen in the club building of the Canoe Club Sloterplas.

In June, two of our members drove to Schaprode in Germany to sail around the island of Rügen, a multi-day trip of almost 200 km. A presentation has been made of this tour that will be shown in our canteen. Topics covered include:

• The preparation

• The equipment

• Overnight accommodations

• Food and drink

• Romance on the water

• An adventurous German

• Many pictures

• Evaluation

Due to the limited number of places in our canteen, it is important to register in advance. Of course, we don't want you to have to stand outside in the cold in mid-January.

Also let us know how many you want to come (introductions are welcome). If it is full, subsequent registrations will be notified and the lecture will be given again a week later (January 22).
